Hi everyone,
i just wanted to share pictures of a trip to Olympic National Park i had visited
between August 13 and15, 2004. There were so many interesting wildlives, plants to see, and trails to explore. i enjoyed immersing
myself in the nature and refreshing my soul. i had a hard time keeping an excitement with myself so i figured why not share
it with you guys.
I and my friends, Sippy and Markus, had visited Olympic Nat' l Park once early this year however it was only a day trip
and didn't really give us much time to explore and appreciate the lushness and beauty that the park has to offer.
This time we spent 2 nights and 3 days in different parts of the park. Sol Duc Hot Spring was our first stop. Sippy had
planned to take a dip in the hot springs but sadly that it turned out that it was a hot spring pool(looked just like
a regular swimming pool) operated by private hot spring resort so there was an entrance fee. So Sippy changed his
mind and went hiking with Markus and me at Sol Duc Falls trail. That late afternoon, we headed off to Ozette where we had
reserved a camp site for our first night camping out. The second day we took a hike back to a trailhead at
Ozette and was trying to rush to Quinault Rain Forest before it was dark. Unfortunately we didn't make it there
however it was not bad at all we changed our destination to Hoh Rain Forest which was a lot closer. We reached there at around
dinner time and got a handicapped spot to pitch our tent for the second night. On the last day of the trip, we took a short
hike on one of the trails in Hoh Rain Forest, then stopped by Olympia, a capitol city of Washington state, then had dinner
at an indian restaurant in Lacey.
So that was it, well i don't leave all those precious moments behind though. don't believe me? click on the links.
Enjoy (*v*)
